In this photo we see the pattern generator is ready to accept a new shot. In the center of the wide paper target is a tiny red laser dot. This dot is calibrated to be the exact center of a pattern and serves as the unchanging aim point for all pattern analysis.

This portion of the system is a precision engineered workhorse. The pattern generator system is calibrated using the laser as an unshifting register point. This point allows us to establish the circular diameters within the pattern. This calibration allows the pattern processing computer to render accurate, consitent and repeatable results.
